Vision  

‘As one lamp lights another, nor grows less’

Quality in education can be realized or achieved only if each teacher educators becomes morally responsible for the profession he or she opted. The individual’s self-realization should be shaped and conditioned by social demands, and here in lies in the quintessence of a socio-religious personality. Considering this, our college stresses on inter-religious values.


Institutional Goals

  • To promote great qualities of dedication, simplicity, self-less service and sacrifice this will give light to the problems of the students of new generation.
  • To produce personnel for the noble profession, who in their actual career as teacher educators will be able to transform the students into good future citizens of the country.
  • To enlighten teacher educators, various approaches and technologies can be adopted to make education more meaningful.
  • To imbibe in the students the ideal qualities of dedication to learning, simplicity in personal life and self-less service to the society.

Institutional Goals

  • To introduce courses and options that has immediate relevance in the neighbourhood.
  • Admitting Student Teachers and recruiting teachers across barriers of religion, caste, region and language.
  • Ensuring the improvements in teaching competencies and success of Student Teachers through special efforts and remedial programmes.
  • Inculcating Student Teachers willingness and a readiness to respond to the needs of the community in the immediate neighbourhood.
  • Facilitating professional growth of Teacher Educators both in terms of teaching and research by providing opportunities and facilities for such growth.

Thus the aim of our college is to produce leaders who are willing to serve and not to be served. The college is established to provide training to young men and women of our country. It also extends its services to members of all other communities and religions as per articles 14 and 15 of our Indian Constitution. Equal emphasis is offered for academic excellence, ethical conduct and co-curricular and extra-curricular accomplishments. Our college mission “Love, Knowledge and Virtue” aptly lists our aspirations
