ACTION PLAN

  • Enrolling all the I year Student –Teachers as members of Youth Red Cross.
  • Providing Orientation to the newly enrolled members about the History. Principles and functions of Youth Red Cross.
  • Arranging Awareness Programme on:

  • Blood Donation
  • Organ Donation
  • Water Management
  • Creating Ecofriendly Environment
  • Personal Health and Hygiene.
  • Needs of Special People.
  • Maintain of Herbal Garden.
  • Observing the days of National and International importance such as

  • World Water Day (22nd March)
  • World Mental Health Day (10th October)
  • World Girl Child Day (11th October)
  • Joy of Giving Week (First week of October)
  • International Day of People with Disability (3rd December)
  • ACTIVITIES

  • B.Ed. I year Student-Teachers were enrolled as Youth Red Cross Members.
  • Awareness on Green Campus was created by encouraging “Birth Day Tree Plantation”.
  • First week of the month ‘October’ was observed as “Joy of Giving Week” Student Teachers were asked to prepare and present a script on their related activities in front of their peers.
  • “World Water Day” was observed in our campus by the Student Teachers and Teacher educator by wearing blue costume symbolizes the water, in a grand manner. Quotes related to water and water management were collected and displayed in the campus by the Student Teachers. Water Management Pledge was taken by the Student-Teachers and they promised their judicial use of water.
  • The YRC unit of the college provided a pamphlet depicting the water management quotes and water management techniques in a cloth bag, to stress the habit of using Eco friendly materials, thereby avoiding plastic.
