About

Department of Biological Science is to impart quality education to students, prepare them for eminent teaching and to encourage the kind of technology which works towards the betterment of society. The department ensures that students who have completed the course have the necessary skills to enter the noble profession.

The faculty creates a positive and caring environment for student development and learning. A variety of teaching methods and materials are employed, utilizing media and technology to the maximum. The team of faculty plans informative sessions that involve individual development and team work.

College started as training college from the year 1955. First department together joined as department of science .Later into physical science and biological science. From the year 1984 to 1988 department of bio-science handled by ShriB.KrishnaPrasadth, he was followed by ThiruK.Kalaperumal from the year 1988 – 2016.
